I originally made this for a mug swap that I am participating in. Unfortunately the mug I used for the swap has a skinny bottom and wide top-this pattern works better for the more classic mug shape.
The yarn I used is Sugar'n Cream Beach Ball Blue (although this color reminds me more of winter than summer). Cotton yarn is my new favorite, I love how clean the stitches look.

I love it!! I'll definitely be trying it out! :)
ReplyDeleteIt was super easy, go for it :)

ReplyDeleteThe longest project i've done was a huge scarf, I can't imagine a blanket! That would take forever!
DeleteI have just found your blog through the CHQ blog hop! And firstly, let me say how much I love your layout - your header and buttons etc. are so cute! I love them! Secondly, I love this post - I am a beginner crocheter and this seems like a project I may be able to handle, so thank you!

ReplyDeleteThis mug cozy is down right adorable; I looooove those colors! I just learned a beginning stitch (is that what you call it?) in crochet and can't wait to learn more! I've gained love for mug cozies and really want to make one. So thank you for the link to the free pattern.
